Dr. Hosea Kili, OGW

President of the Association of Pension Trustees and Administrators of Kenya, (APTAK)

An advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Dr. Hosea Kili, OGW holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK); a Fellow Member of Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and an active member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK).

Dr. Kili is a Council member and the former chairman of the African Social Security Association (ASSA). He is the current president, of the Association of Pension Trustees Administrators of Kenya (APTAK).

A recipient of numerous commendations, Dr. Kili was awarded the Presidential Order of Grand Warrior of Kenya in December 2011 and the 2nd Runners up CEO of the Year at the COYA Awards 2012. He was also recognized as the Personality of the Year at the 2017 Pension Awards that sought to award excellence in innovation and service provision to improve the outcomes of both pension funds as well as members. Dr. Kili was also recognized as the 2nd Runners up in the ‘CEO of the Year’ category during the 2017 and 2018 Champions of Governance (CoG) Awards.

Dr. Kili currently serves as a member of the ISSA bureau and a member of the Finance Committee of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) following his election to this post in 2019.

Boniface M. Mwangangi(ACILEx;CPM)

Secretary-General of the Association of Pension Trustees and Administrators of Kenya, (APTAK)

Boniface M. Mwangangi (ACILEx;CPM) is the Secretary-General of the Association of Pension Trustees and Administrators of Kenya, (APTAK). He is a Lawyer by profession, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, a Trainer and Facilitator in Pension Administration, a Lecturer in Competency-Based Education in Pension Management, and a Member of the Institute of Directors.

He is a board member of two secondary schools’ Board of Management and Chairman of ACK Nkoroi Education Committee. Boniface has previously held office as a Foundational and Long-serving Tribunal Clerk of the Retirement Benefits Appeal Tribunal, Senior Legal Officer at the Retirement Benefits Authority, Office Manager at Marende & Company Advocates, and Court Clerk in the Judiciary of Kenya.

Boniface has over twenty years of experience in Pension Administration. He brings to the Association invaluable wealth of knowledge and experience transcending professional, technical, consultancy, education, dispute resolution, management, administration, and social field among others, gained in both public and private sector service spanning over 39 years
